The Kings lace-up at home Saturday night, Feb. 3 against the Westport Rideaus. Game time is 7 p.m. at the Astrolabe Arena.
On Sunday, Feb. 4, they travel to Winchester for a 7:15 p.m. game against the Winchester Hawks.
There are no results posted for last night’s game in Brockville against the Tikis.
On Monday, Jan. 29, the Whitewater Kings returned home with a 5-2 defeat by the Renfrew Timberwolves.
The Timberwolves had 32 shots on goal compared to the Kings’ 27. Both teams went 1 for four on powerplays.
The Renfrew Timberwolves were up by four goals before the Kings responded on a short-handed goal with five minutes left in the second period.
Scoring in Periods 1 and 2 for the Timberwolves were Bailey Hein with two and singles by Russell Denney and Connor Noonan. King Peter White responded at 15:10 on a shorthanded goal with an assist from Michael Hubers.
King Chad Moore, on a power play, scored half-way through the final period. Closing the scoring was Timberwolf Noonan.
King goalie Kevin Proulx suffered the loss while Timberwolf Dane Brumm took the win.
The Kings sat out 31 minutes on six infractions while the Timberwolves sat 23 minutes on six infractions.
In front of 105 fans, Noonan and Hein were named the top two stars with King Peter White earning the third star.
On Friday, Jan. 26, the Kings defeated the Arnprior Packers 7-4 in Arnprior; followed by a 3-1 win at home Saturday over the Brockville Tikis.
The Kings remain in fourth spot in the Richardson Division of the CCHL 2 with 46 points. Fast on their heels are the Perth Blue Wings and the Renfrew Timberwolves.
