Parks and Recreation Manager Jordan Durocher outlined an agreement to renew an agreement with the Whitewater Kings hockey team,
He said that the first game was to happen on October 2nd, and would run until February.
He said that the Kings had nothing owing from the previous year.
Councillor Nicholson asked if they expected the same historical time requirements, which Durocher confirmed.
Durocher also said they were “hopeful to focus on our ice operations for the time being” regarding the teams, and that concessions were reliant on the provincial government.
Councilor Daryl McLaughlin thanked the organizers for the dedication of the bandstand to Patsy Moore.
The motion was carried.
