Whitewater man charged followed two-vehicle collision

RENFREW — A Whitewater Region man has been charged following a head-on collision in Renfrew.
The collision happened on Bruce Street in Renfrew on Saturday, Feb. 27. Bruce Street was temporarily closed and two people were taken to Renfrew Victoria Hospital with minor injuries.
Darwin Leclaire was charged with impaired driving and driving with over 80 milligrams of alcohol.
He was released on a promise to appear in court on Wednesday, April 20.
