PEMBROKE — Carefor Health & Community Services will be hosting a Community “Wings to Remember” Butterfly Release on Sunday August 19 from 1 to 3 p.m.
The event is to provide an opportunity for members of the community, volunteers and staff to remember family members and friends by releasing a butterfly in their memory.
This is a community event and there will activities for children and adults.
Everyone is welcome, it is not necessary to purchase a butterfly to attend. The event will be held on the front lawn at the Carefor Mackay Center, 700 Mackay St., Pembroke.
Butterflies are $25 each with a $20 donation receipt issued for income tax purposes. If an individual or a group would like more information or to purchase a butterfly call Carefor Mackay office at 613-732-3949 ext 1118.
