Julie Lalonde is the special guest speaker at an International Women’s Day event being held in Cobden on Sunday.
It’s an afternoon of art, tea and treats. As a matter of fact, bring a sample of your favourite tea to share with others.
Ms. Lalonde is an award-winning social justice advocate who works in the area of sexual violence. She hosts a weekly radio sho, is the project manager of Draw-the-line campaign and is currently managing a local needs assessment called Building a Stronger Renfrew County.
The event is at the Cobden Health Centre starting at 1 p.m.
