The W.I. District Directors for the North Renfrew District, met for the first time since Feb. 2020, on Nov. 23, 2021.. Ruth Douma chaired the meeting.


A motion was passed to accept the Agenda, and minutes from the Feb. 10, 2020 meeting were reviewed and accepted. Many of the events that had been planned have been put on hold due to the pandemic.


Reports: Treasurer’s Report: Iris Biggs gave the Treasurer’s Report and she also included an updated copy of the members of Eastern Area and address.


Tweedsmuir History: Iris Biggs brought a bag containing the Tweedsmuir books and the Tweedsmuir Cup to hopefully be taken by the Historical Society in Forester’s Falls. Alisa Page was taking them home and through her branch have the items delivered if accepted.


Quilt: The Forester’s Falls branch is in charge of acquiring a quilt for the District.

Newspaper Liaison: Elaine Hennessy reported she is sending in an article each month to The Whitewater News and it is being published.

District Annual: The Greenwood branch is hoping to host the District Annual in 2022 depending on COVID -19.

Fair List: The Fair List was done by the Greenwood Branch.

New Business: Iris Biggs is stepping down as Treasurer and would like someone to take over the District books.

Other Business: Ruth Douma will touch base with the branches at the end of March and see if a District Directors’ meeting could happen.

Christine Reaburn advised she is sending out e-mails from FWIO to the branches to keep them informed and up to date on happenings, events, etc.
