RENFREW — Renfrew officers of the OPP have located two girls who went missing in Calabogie Aug. 4.
The girls, aged 9 and 11, had been playing hide and seek and failed to return after the game.
The OPP attended the camping area the girls were staying at on Airds Lake Road in the Township of Greater Madawaska at 10:06 p.m.
The OPP Canine Unit, and Emergency Response Team (ERT) and patrol officers spent the night searching the area. The OPP helicopter assisted as well as marine units and Renfrew County paramedics.
The girls were located in good health.
