A father of three killed in motorcycle crash

WHITEWATER REGION (Cobden) — A father of three was killed in a motorcycle crash on Thursday, August 23 shortly after 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Hwy. 17 and Foresters Falls Road.

Adam MacGregor, husband of Stefanie and father of Lennon and Ruby, and a baby boy on the way, died at the scene.

A Graveside Service will be held at Cobden Union Cemetery on Friday, Aug. 31 at 2 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at Dunbar’s Barn on the Queens Line following the interment.

OPP reported they responded to a report of a collision involving a transport truck and motorcycle.

The transport was westbound on Highway 17, while the motorcycle had been southbound on Forester’s Falls Road in Cobden when the collision occurred.

The investigation into the crash is being conducted by Renfrew OPP members, with the assistance of Traffic Collision Investigators.
