Many thanks to Heartwood in Cornwall for the loving care they gave Amy in the last years of her life. Her eldest daughter, Jean Pollock-Gordon said by living to the age of 102 and a half, her mom proves the point, “hard work never killed anyone.” Born weighing just over two and a half pounds in 1917, she never got above 4 foot 11 inches, but was a busy farmer and a much involved community member and church worker into her mid 90’s.
