Beachburg Fair holds 165th fair after two years of delay due to pandemic

Beachburg held its 165th Annual Fair on the weekend July 22, 23, and 24, marking the first full fair since the COVID-19 pandemic struck in 2020.

Fairgoers enjoyed rides such the Fun Slide, and saw events such as a horse drawing competitions and a demolition derby, and chuckwagon races in the Beachburg Ball diamond.

President of the Dave Mackay opened the event, along with Mayor Mike Moore, Reeve Cathy Regier, and MPP John Yakabuskie.

The opening event named Marilyn Robinson and Lois Dougherty as Lifetime Volunteers.

The Beachburg Agricultural Society also announced a bursary available to young students.

Everlee Rose was named Little Ms. Beachburg.

The Event drew crowds for the three days, after a rough two years.
