FORESTERS FALLS — The third Business Bistro in Renfrew County is at the Whitewater Brewing Company Tuesday, Nov. 4 from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
The business is located at the intersection of Grants Settlement Road and Fletcher Road between Foresters Falls and Beachburg.
“It’s an opportunity for business people to connect and bounce ideas off of each other,” said Jackie Stott, information co-ordinator for Renfrew County.
It could also identify business opportunities, partners, allies and resources. Business people have the potential to meet new suppliers and service providers.
It’s an opportunity for a sounding board for new business ideas and provides opportunity to learn more about your business neighbours, Ms. Stott noted.
Any business person, regardless of the type, should attend. This includes creative and artistic individuals, business operators and managers, entrepreneurs, community and political leaders, and software, engineering and technical innovators.
A similar event was successfully held in Arnprior and Pembroke earlier this year, Ms. Stott said.
At the previous two events, there was a guest speaker. While one hasn’t been booked for this event, she believes the two owners of Whitewater Brewing Company .. Chris Thompson and Chris Thompson .. yes they have the same name, will talk about their business.
There will also be plenty of social time with complimentary appetizers and a cash bar. It’s also a great opportunity, if you haven’t, to try the various brews at this company.
