COBDEN — The Cobden Agricultural Hall is where the unofficial results of the municipal election in Whitewater Region Township will be announced.
Chief administrative officer Christine FitzSimons said she and deputy-clerk Hope Dillabough will tabulate the results at the township hall in Cobden.
Once that’s completed, she will bring the information to the ag hall.
“I will go over and annonce the unofficial results once they have been tabulated,” she said.
The agricultural hall is slated to be open at 8 p.m. and she expects everything to be completed around 9 p.m.
Ms. FitzSimons said by Thursday she should be able to post the official results.
“I want a few days to verify the results if that’s necessary,” she said.
The new council will be sworn in at the 1 p.m. council meeting on Dec. 3.
