This is a minor correction to last week’s article on when and where the first Christmas market was held.
The market itself began in the spring of 1990 but the first Christmas Market was held at the Memorial Hall in 1991. All three levels were utilized for that first very successful Christmas Market which was held the week after the Santa Claus Parade. This year marked 24 years so next year will be a special one as the Christmas market celebrates its 25th anniversary.
