Mayor Neil Nicholson asked the Councillors if they had any announcements, as well as if they had any notices of motion to put forward, and any declaration of interest.
There were no notice of motions or declarations of interest.
Councillor Michael Moore announced the Beachburg Christmas Beachburg Market on December 3rd at 10-4 at the Lion’s Hall.
Mayor Nicholson added that it will be followed by the Beachburg Parade.
“This Friday, in Westmeath, at the Hall, a local musician, Gillan Rutz, will be performing.”Councillor Joey Trimm said. “$15 dollars a ticket, before or at the door. It’s going to be set up not theatre style but with tables, round tables, and hopefully people can come out and enjoy some good music in beautiful downtown Westmeath.”
Mayor Nicholson said that the Christmas Parade will occur this weekend in Cobden, and will be followed by a tree-lighting down in Veteran’s Park.
