RENFREW COUNTY — The Ethan Allard Memorial Hockey Fund partnered with the Pembroke Petawawa District Community Foundation (PPDCF) and raised almost $48 thousand at their third annual tournament held on February 14 to 16 at the Petawawa Civic Centre. It was reported this is their most successful tournament to date.
The Allard family honours the memory of their son and brother annually with a hockey tournament in partnership with PPDCF. The tournament raises funds to help youth in Renfrew County play hockey. Ethan, who died in a workplace accident, was a hockey enthusiast who loved kids.
