*Here we grow again* …..

Has become a common phrase for Sheri and her vibrant downtown store
formally known as Wheatless Wonders.

The transition to a location where customers can find a variety of Local
Foods and artisan/hand crafted products is well under way. While all this
is a new direction for Wheatless Wonders, including a name change to* “It’s
LOCAL”.* Most of the high quality gluten free products that her customers
have come to trust will still be available.

The transformation began a year ago with the introduction of Local Beef
from Dobson’s farm near Cobden. This beef has been strictly Grass Fed,
without the typical “finishing”, with grains or other feeds. There are no
antibiotics or added hormones, and they are raised and processed right here
in Renfrew County.

The store has recently added Pork and Lamb products from Yellowmoon in
Eganville. The animals are pasture raised and/or supplemented with Organic
Non-GMO feed in a mindful, sustainable method.

As spring approaches, Sheri will be working closely with local farms to
introduce fruits and vegetables, with the emphasis on Organic, Non-GMO,
Chemical Fertilizer, and Pesticide Free. Seasonal variety will ensure you
are getting the freshest products available from field to table. So watch
for her vegetable stand out front of the store in the spring, summer and
fall months!

“It’s LOCAL” will also be exhibiting a host of goods provided by local
artisans and crafters. These unique wares can be purchased 6 days a week and
more are slated for the near future.

So come down and browse, check out the new look and feel of* ‘Its LOCAL’*
at 204 Raglan St S. Renfrew on March 28th for her 2nd birthday party.
Gluten free brownies and cake, herbal tea and direct/fair trade coffee will
be available.

Meet your producers and the artisans of the Valley. Fill out a ballot with
every purchase to enter special opening day DRAWS from every vendor!

If you are a producer, vendor or artisan and are interested in selling your
wares in a downtown location Sheri would love to hear from you. Please call
613-431-3131 for more information and be a part of this unique venue.
