Five students at Our Lady of Grace Catholic School in Westmeath are hoping to be going to Knoxville, Tennessee to compete at Destination Imagination. They earned the opportunity after winning the Destination Imagination competition held late last month in Stittsville. The members of Our Lady of Grace—Around the World team are Kya Ellis-Martin, Emily Kuisma, Bella Jamieson, Sara Kosowan and Jenna Thorns. They recently held two bottle drives — one in Beachburg and another in Westmeath. The girls who worked at the Beachburg drive were, from left, Bella, Sara and Kya. Whitewater News will soon catch up with the girls to interview them about their adventure and how the community can help make the trip become a reality.
