WHITEWATER REGION — Hydrant Flushing in the Township of Whitewater Region will begin on April 29 and April 30 in Cobden and on May 6 to May 7 in Beachburg.
According to the Township’s statement on it’s website, this is a component of a routine maintenance program. Water discolouration and a drop in water pressure may occur during this time. The Township reminds residents that if any discolouration occurs, to let cold water taps run until water is clear.
The weekly Block Ad [found on page 3] had noted Beachburg flushing would begin on April 22 and April 23 due to cold weather. The date has been changed to May 6 and May 7.
