Jason Blaine Fundraiser

Pembroke, Ontario – The 8th annual Jason Blaine Celebrity Charity Golf Classic is scheduled for June 22, 2022, and is returning to the Pembroke Golf Club. Last year’s event raised almost $90,000 for local charities and this year, the event hopes to break the $100,000 mark. This is also a summer where artists are finally able to perform at a regular pace with pandemic restrictions lifting, making it even more special that artists have continued to support charitable initiatives.

“After two years of limited schedules, we are all so happy to be getting back into touring and playing live music,” says event host and Pembroke native, Jason Blaine. “I’m so thankful to have such great friends in the music industry who take the time to travel to Pembroke to help us raise funds for such wonderful organizations. This year’s event will be incredible once again thanks to these amazing artists, our committed sponsors and a volunteer committee who share a passion for helping the community.”

The line-up for this year includes:

Tim Hicks. A Canadian artist from St. Catharines, Hicks has been releasing music since 2012. He has 18-Top-10 hits on the Canadian country chart. In February 2022, Hicks released his new single, “Whiskey Does.”

His newest single, “That’s The Life” includes a traditional radio version and a unique version in partnership with the Winnipeg Jets.

Elyse Saunders. After attending the Jason Blaine Celebrity Charity Golf Classic last year for the first time, Saunders is returning after a busy 2021 that included a new single, “Genes” which was featured on CMT.

Brian John Harwood. Harwood returns to the stage this year after a whirlwind 2021 which included the birth of twin girls! He will be coming to Pembroke fresh off performing at the Country Music Association (CMA) of Ontario awards in London, held earlier in June.

Lemon Cash. Ottawa brothers Cory and Jeff Papineau used the pandemic to create a new single, “Locked Up” and they kicked off the New Year with a new single, “Someone.”

Rivertown Saints. Arnprior’s Rivertown Saints is on a roll with over 12 million total streams of their music. The foursome has had tours with some of Canada’s most popular musicians, including Tim Hicks.

Landon Bedor. An up-and-coming country music artist from Ottawa, Bedor taught himself to play the guitar at age 9. This 16-year-old is debuting at the Jason Blaine Celebrity Charity Golf Classic this year.
