Renfrew OPP detachment officers Const. Jon Mahusky (left) and Const. Jeff Cassidy were busy Wednesday morning on Muskrat Lake. But, not busy ticketing boaters, just checking to ensure everyone was boating safely. Const. Mahusky said they were out for about four hours on the lake, but there weren’t many boats. The OPP remind those who are going on the water to leave the booze on shore and have the necessary safety equipment in your boat, such as bailing can, whistle and life jackets for everyone.
