Dear Editor:
This letter is in response to Country Living by Maynard van der Galien’s column titled Why go to all the work and expense and leave baled hay sit in the field published June 22.
I don’t like mice either, luckily I have two good cats.
I’d like an answer to why farmers leave hay bales to rot in the fields. As a small farmer in the Tramore area, my dad could never leave hay to rot.
Let’s have an answer.
Margaret Coules, Renfrew
