Whitewater Historical Society

December 2021

The night before Christmas Ross Museum was ablaze

with lights set to banish the wintery haze.

They hung from the railings, they hung from the rafters

Crafted by Beattle, Whitewater’s fine master,

On a pergola built to brighten the season,

For picknicking, playing, whatever the reason.

Come down to the creek and sit by the water,

Throw a ball, have some fun and listen to laughter.

The flowers will bloom with Joanne’s tender care,

All of them raised with her magical flair.

The museum’s for you, enjoy all the garden

And collections within where Lawrie is Guardian.

Delight in our past and Whitewater’s Culture

We know that with you Ross Museum has a future.

To all of our members, to those far and near,

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good year.

Beatty Pilgrim – President
Judith Humphries – Vice President
Evelyn St. Amour – Past President
Janis Tomkinson – Secretary
Connie Tabbert – Treasurer
Fay Bennett – Archivist
Lawrie Barton – Curator
Joanne Pratt – Gardener
