Formerly of Forester’s Falls, Lila Charlotte Rankin (nee Sharpe) passed away peacefully in Renfrew at Bonnechere Manor on Monday, September 23 at the age of 91 years. Lila was the beloved wife of the late Gerald Rankin and cherished mother of Pauline Rankin. Daughter of the late Lawrence and Laura Sharpe and predeceased by her sister Beverley Bailey and brothers Lawrence (Larry) and Giles. Dear aunt of Ron Francis, Lorna Worrell (Peter), Bill Chwedchuk (Susan), Ann Campbell, Pamela Sharpe Dovbniak and Paul Sharpe. Lovingly remembered by Julia Levesque. Friends called at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home in Cobden. Funeral services followed at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Cobden. Interment was at Ross Presbyterian Cemetery in Forester’s Falls, Ontario.
