WHITEWATER REGION (Cobden) — The Council of the Township of Whitewater Region held a closed session meeting on Wednesday, April 8.
All members of Council participated in this closed session. Also included were Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Robert Tremblay, Treasurer and Deputy CAO Sean Crozier, and Planner and Economic Development Officer Ivan Burton.
According to the Township, “only the items listed on the agenda were discussed” and “only directions to staff and procedural items were considered.”
A tower agreement with North Renfrew Telephone Company was discussed. This item was included on the April 15 agenda at the meeting of Council for consideration. At said meeting, the motion to enter into the agreement was taken as read and passed.
Other matters discussed were the CBO being provided direction on a building matter; the CAO was provided direction on a land donation, staffing and an AR matter; and the Planner and EDO received direction in regard to a property on Sutherland Rd.
The meeting began at 2:01 p.m. and was adjourned at 4:41 p.m. It was held electronically due to social distancing measures and was not webcast.
