Councillor McLaughlin set forth a notice of motion that a discussion occur and a report occur for the Road department on Gypsy Lane.
“I’ve gotten all kinds of phone calls, I’ve got emails, I’ve had people come to the door.” he said. “I want the road’s department to come back with a report so we can have a discussion of Gypsy Lane.”
Councillor Jackson had a Notice of Motion direct staff to review the brushing policy and property training on use of the machine.
“I’m tired of hearing complaints. I was disgusted to hear of the job that was done on my son’s property.” she said. “There’s nothing worse than coming home to seeing trees in front of your property destroyed.”
She said that more warning was necessary for the property owners as well.
Councillor Nicholson also proposed amplification of Councillor McLaughlin’s motion, which CAO Trembley said would be worded as an application next meeting
The motions were carried.
