OPP charge Pembroke man with drug offences

PEMBROKE — On September 3, members of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) – Project Paradigm, Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Upper Ottawa detachment of teh Ontario Provincial Police executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant on a residence in the City of Pembroke.

Police seized cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine and marihuana.

Police arrested Gerald DERION ,71, of Pembroke with:

Importing a schedule I substance – cocaine,
Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking,
Possession of Methamphetamines,
Production of a schedule II substance – marihuana and
Possession of marihuana.
He was held for a bail hearing in the Ontario Court of Justice, Pembroke and remanded into custody.
