Pembroke man charged with drug offences

PEMBROKE — On September 10th, 2014, members of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) – Project Paradigm, Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Upper Ottawa detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant on a residence in the City of Pembroke.

Police seized Methamphetamines (Crystal Meth), Oxycodone, Marihuana and cash.

George POLYCHRONIDIS ,45, of Pembroke was arrested and charged with:

Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in a schedule I substance (2 counts) and
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in a Schedule II substance.
He was held in custoday to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Pembroke and remanded into custody.
