OPP investigating serious collision

RENFREW COUNTY (Pembroke) — On June 27, at approximately 3:00 p.m. officers with the Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to reports of a serious, two vehicle collision just northwest of Pembroke, Ontario.

It happened on Forest Lea Road in Laurentian Valley Township. Three people suffered serious injuries, while one person suffered minor injuries.

East Region Collision Reconstructionists and Technical Collision Investigators are expected to be on the scene for an extended period of time.

As a result of the investigation, Forest Lead Road remains closed between B-Line Road and TV Tower road. No further information is available at this time.
