Whitewater Brewery is fast becoming the social hub of the eastern part of the region. Last week, I was there twice. On Thursday afternoon we celebrated the life of Juan Antonio De Urgarte, a Peruvian kayaker who spent his summers on the Ottawa River and died in a kayaking accident in Chile two weeks ago.
Three days later I was there to celebrate the Brewery’s new seasonal beer, Jack Frost. Both events were well attended, good for the area and good for those attendees. If you haven’t been to the Brewery, please go. It is adding significantly to the quality of life in our region.
