Pembroke Regional Hospital

PEMBROKE – The Pembroke Regional Hospital is hoping to expand its COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic Team with the recruitment of additional regulated health care professionals to vaccinate, pre-load syringes and fill the onsite role of Pharmacy lead, a minimum of one eight-hour shift every two weeks.

The additional team members will work in paid positions at the clinic held at the Pembroke Memorial Centre which is operated by the Pembroke Regional Hospital on behalf of the Renfrew County and District Health Unit.

Both vaccinators and those interested in the role of pre-loading syringes with the COVID-19 vaccine will need to be trained in aseptic technique, and participate in required training including a review of related policies and procedures and educational materials.

Those taking on the role of Pharmacy lead will be responsible for, among other duties, supervision of the pre-loading area, managing work flow, and on-site collaboration with the Health Unit and Clinic leads.

All Clinic Team members who are in these specialized roles must be regulated health care professionals in good standing with their college or governing body.

For more information about these roles, or if you are interested in being part of this exciting, historical partnership, please contact Danielle Rae, Clinic Human Resources lead by email at [email protected].
