Renfrew County and District Health Unit has received reports regarding the unexpected occurrence of seizures following the use of cannabis in the Renfrew area. The public is being warned that there may be contaminated cannabis (cannabis mixed with other chemicals or street drugs) circulating in this area.
Renfrew County and District Health Unit would like to remind the public that the use of cannabis for recreational purposes is remains illegal. Cannabis use has health risks best avoided by abstaining.
