With regards to the budget maybe more in depth questions should be asked. If the Council is willing to assess the fire departments finances maybe time to assess if the management of the other departments. For example it might be time to check how efficiently money is being spend. Though a shame the Councillors bump their knees but a new table doesn’t bring revenue into the township. Nor does safety glass in the township office. An overall review of spending should be done so that all frivolous expenditures are stopped until the budget can be balanced as this budget doesn’t even include a contingency fund for the year. What happens if a disaster occurs. What then? Will we have any reserves left to keep the township going?
