The Whitewater Historical Society recently elected a new Executive Board of Directors. The four member board consists of Janis Tomkinson, President; Judith Humphries, Vice-President; Pat Krose, Treasurer; and Zoë MacMaster, Secretary.

Everyone is welcome to join us for the first event of the summer season. The Annual Plant Sale will be held on Saturday June 11th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Come over to the Ross Museum, Foresters Falls Road, Foresters Falls. There will be lots of plants available to choose from and the cost is by donation to the Historical Society. It’s a terrific way to get your gardening plans underway.

The Museum has been closed for the past two summer seasons due to COVID. We are working hard to open our five buildings again this year and look forward to welcoming everyone during the months of July and August. Come and see the history of Whitewater Region illustrated by our collections and pictures of past inhabitants, and enjoy a picnic in the beautiful gardens.

If you’re interested in volunteering or becoming a member of the Museum, please don’t hesitate to contact any of the Executive by email at [email protected]

Hope to see you on June 11th!

Janis Tomkinson
President
