OPP investigate break, enters in Petawawa

RENFREW COUNTY (Petawawa) — On January 30 at approximately 2:30 a.m., the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a break and enter that had just occurred at Bowers’ Esso Station on Petawawa Boulevard in Petawawa. 

The suspect(s) stole a quantity of cash and cigarettes and fled the scene prior to police arrival. OPP’s Canine Unit and Emergency Response Team (ERT) responded as well but the suspect(s) were not located.   

Bowers’ Esso was previously the victim of a break, enter and theft in the early morning hours of November 14, 2019. Cash and cigarettes were stolen at that time. Both incidents remain under investigation and no arrests have been made at this time.

The OPP’s Forensic Identification Services (FIS) and Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) are also assisting with these investigations.
