OPP set to face off with Bishop Smith High School hockey team

RENFREW COUNTY (Pembroke) — Officers from the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are set to face off with the Bishop Smith Catholic High School (BSCHS) boys varsity hockey team today.

Game time is set for 1:00 p.m. at the Pembroke Memorial Centre (PMC) in Pembroke. The entire BSCHS student body will be in attendance to cheer on the teams at this third annual event which brings police and youth together for an afternoon of hockey and friendly competition.

Members of the public are invited to attend this free event and everyone attending, including students, are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item which will be collected by BSCHS students and donated to local food banks.
