The Office of Public Works recommended that the Council of the Township of Whitewater Region approve the award of Tender 2021-24 Gravel Crushing to Eastway Contracting Inc. at a cost of $90,346.88 inclusive of non-refundable H.S.T.
Public Works Manager Lane Cleroux said the company would handle the crushing for gravel roads around the Township, and includes gravel for capital projects such as Kohlsmith and Capital roads.
He said the price was twelve cents less per ton than last year.
There were no questions, and the motion was carried.
